How Human Psychology & Behavior Affects Your Relationship

“Learn How Human Psychology and Behavior Can Affect Your Relationship:                                                         Avoid These 12 Behaviors at All Costs.”   Introduction It is not a secret that relationships call for work. But sometimes, we can unknowingly sabotage our relationships—or the relationships of those around us. Check out the list below to see if you or anyone you know might be guilty of any of these 12 behaviors that destroy relationships.   1. Being defensive 2. Withholding compliments 3. Criticizing 4. Name-calling 5. Refusing to apologize 6. Playing the victim 7. Making assumptions 8. Blaming others 9. Holding grudges 10. Ignoring problems 11. Interrupting others 12. Complaining Unresolved Issues There are some unresolved issues that you just need to avoid. If you can’t seem to get past them, it will only lead to heartache down the road. You need to be honest with yourself and with your partner about what’s going on. If you’re not ready to talk about something, then it’s best to just steer clear of it altogether.   It’s also important that you don’t try to bury your head in the sand. Ignoring an issue is only going to make it worse in the long run. Deal with things head-on and you’ll be able to work through them much more easily. Lack of Empathy Do you ever find yourself not caring about what your partner is feeling? You’re not alone. A lack of empathy is one of the biggest killers of relationships. When we don’t bother trying to understand how our partner is feeling, we’re essentially telling them that their feelings don’t matter.   We can avoid this by making a conscious effort to be more empathetic. This means listening actively and putting ourselves in our partner’s shoes. It can be difficult to do this at first, but with practice, so it becomes easier. And the payoff is worth it—just think of all the fights you’ll avoid, and all the happiness you’ll bring to your partner’s life. Poor Communication When it comes to relationships, poor communication is one of the biggest killers. This can take on many forms, but the most common is simply not listening to your partner. You may be thinking, “I’m listening, I’m just not agreeing with them.” But that’s not what your partner needs from you. They need you to hear them, digest what they’re saying, and give an honest response. Failing to do this will only lead to misunderstandings and resentment. Manipulation Manipulation is a behavior that is often hard to spot, but it can be destructive to a relationship. Manipulation is when someone tries to control or influence another person through underhanded or devious methods. Manipulation can take many forms, from subtle Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to more overt emotional manipulation. CBT is a type of therapy that aims to change the way someone thinks to change their behavior. While CBT can be unhelpful, it can also be used to manipulate someone by changing the way they think about themselves or their situation. For example, a manipulative person might use CBT techniques to make their partner doubt their intuition or memory. Emotional manipulation is another form of manipulation that can be difficult to spot. This is when someone tries to control another person by playing with their emotions. For example, they might guilt trip their partner into doing something they don’t want to do or play on their fear to get them to do what they want. Both of these types of manipulation can be extremely harmful to a relationship, as they erode trust and mutual respect. If you think you might be manipulative, it’s important to seek help from a therapist or counselor who can help you learn healthier ways of relating to others. Withholding Affection One of the most common complaints I hear from couples is that one partner feels emotionally neglected. In other words, they feel like their affectionate needs are not being met. If you’re not a touchy-feely person, you can still express affection through words and deeds. That might mean cooking dinner for your partner, sending them a sweet text message during the day, or doing something special for them on their birthday. The important thing is to be thoughtful and deliberate about how you express your affection. If you’re withholding affection as a way to punish your partner or get back at them for something they did, that’s not healthy behavior. It will only lead to resentment and bitterness, and it will ultimately destroy your relationship. Infidelity or Dishonesty Number six on the list of behaviors that destroy relationships is infidelity or dishonesty. When you are not faithful to your partner, or when you are dishonest with them, it creates a feeling of betrayal. This is one of the most difficult things to recover from in a relationship. If you have been unfaithful, it is important not to be honest with your partner about what happened. This will help them to begin to trust you again. If you are not honest about your infidelity, it will be even more difficult to rebuild trust. Dishonesty in a relationship can take many forms. It can be something as small as hiding a purchase from your partner, or it can be something much bigger, like lying about an affair. Regardless of the size of the lie, dishonesty creates mistrust and can destroy a relationship. Controlling Behavior One of the most destructive relationship behaviors is what’s commonly referred to as “controlling behavior.” This is when one person in the relationship tries to dictate how the other person lives their life. It might manifest as trying to control what the other person wears, who they spend time with, what they do for fun, or what their career should be. It can also show

EFT. Emotional Freedom Technique

By Dr. Tara Ikram                                                                                  (Clinical Psychologist, hypnotist, DHMS, Reiki Healer, Acupressure Therapist)                   What Is Emotional Freedom Technique(EFT)                                           and How Does It Work? The emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)  belongs to the field of alternative medicine. It is also called Tapping Therapy or the Meridian tapping technique. It was created by Gary Craig. You can call it psychological acupressure, based on Chinese acupuncture points or Body meridians. but instead of using needles or pressing the points like acupressure, we use tapping on these points. While acupuncture and acupressure focus on physical ailments, EFT treats emotional issues or disturbances. In short, EFT is an emotional version of acupressure or acupuncture, but instead, we use needles and tap on certain points or meridians…    What are pressure points or body meridians? To know the exact process of the emotional freedom technique we should get some knowledge about meridians, and their function in our bodies. In alternative medicine or traditional Chinese medicine, the meridians are invisible energy pathways or channels in the body. As we mentioned earlier, there are 14 basic meridians or pressure points but in total there are  20 meridians in our body. Each meridian corresponds to a body organ. Our vital energy ( CHI )  flows along these meridians and any kind of imbalance of this energy causes our physical or mental illness.Meridians are present in the body including hands and feet, they could not be found surgically or seen in X-rays. Not only human beings have meridians but all mammals seem to have these energy meridians. They are intangible but we can feel their presence through their impact on the body. They affect our energy levels, our moods, our thinking, and our cognition but above all, they play an important role in our immune system.    In which Area does this technique work.? EFT works with 14 of the acupressure points. It is a simple method for easing emotional pain. This technique can eliminate intense negative emotions. It is clinically effective in treating intense emotional trauma and abuse. Panic attacks. Anxiety.Fear, Phobias, Mild Depression…some addictions. Child-related problems and some kind of physical symptoms come from emotional sources…like some physical pains, Allergies, Headaches, Breathing difficulties, and a few more.                                                         Basic EFT Points. Top of the Head – releases inner critic, lack of focusBeginning of the Eye Brow – releases tension, frustration, traumaThe side of the Eye.. releases rage, resentment, and fear of changeUnder the Eye– releases stress, fear, anxiety, disappointmentUnder the Nose – releases embarrassment, powerlessnessChin – releases shame, confusionCollar Bone – releases fear, sexual tension & indecisionUnder Arm – releases anxiety about the future, insecurity, poor self-esteemThumb – releases intolerance, disdain, and haughtinessIndex Finger – releases guiltMiddle Finger – releases regret, remorse, jealousy & sexual tensionBaby Finger – releases anger and controlKarate Chop – releases sorrow and sadnessBack of the hand/Gamut point                                                                             Procedure of EFT This procedure is quite simple but its results are excellent, and it has no side effects. The first step of this procedure is to recognize the problem of the patient and then find out and measure the intensity of this issue or problem then we start the straightforward treatment. The therapist taps the specific points or meridians, each tapping point addressing or treating a specific issue.Usually, a patient requires 5 to 7 sessions, but one can feel the difference in the first session, in most cases the negative emotions about a specific issue are completely resolved. The very interesting part of this technique is its simplicity so that even a child can learn it. (IMPORTANT: The above article describes the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and recommends taking proper training or seeking help from a therapist to benefit from this procedure.   1 Comment Beating the Feeling of Impatience: – FiT Life With TaraMarch 15, 2024 at 11:54 am | Edit […] EFT. Emotions play a vital role in our success

Human Emotions: Something important, we should know about    We all want success in our lives.. to achieve a satisfied, successful life we work day and night, and try to find new resources and fields to achieve our goals …which could help us to create our desired life. But sometimes we don’t get there where we want to see us. We are unable to do anything for others that we wanted to do or often we fail to keep our relationships in good shape even though we value them. Often it happens that when we look back to our lives, we realize that it was our emotional attitude that created problems unwanted situations, and sometimes disasters in our lives..it is our emotions or feelings that play a great role in our success, our failures and in our better living.                                                                                                              How emotions take control over ourselves      We all have emotions… and as long as we live they would stay with us. we have different kinds of emotions. love, hatred. happiness sadness. Anger fear affection, etc.. some r very important and necessary for our lives, but some causes problem. I personally feel that if we don’t have emotions we r as dead as a table or chair…..being emotional is not an issue or problem but the problem starts when we get over emotional… in that case instead of checking what is wrong or right for us we r acting according to our emotions or feelings or moods…we all r educated civilized persons, and know what kind of actions should be taken in which situations but we act according to our emotions… sometimes they drive us crazy.. and we behave like an insane person… sometimes they cause our lack of confidence because we don’t do many things which r necessary for us just due to fear…and what is fear??? its an emotion…. sometimes we lose our very important relations due to anger…we lose our friendships because we can not say sorry due to our ego…these all r emotions emotions work as stimulants that force us to act or behave according to our feelings, whenever we get angry we usually forget the consequences of our behavior, and we never realize what we’re saying, or how we’re behaving. what kind of expression we have on our faces, we ignore all these things. sometimes we stop acting like civilized people… we never realize that it may destroy our future. our relations. Or sometimes our whole life.                                                                                          we have many feelings. moods or emotions,                                                                         but here we discuss a few of them, and we encounter them daily.   Jealousy. Jealousy is a negative thought or feeling… whenever we become jealous of someone we lose our positivity which affects our ability to work, .. instead of concentrating on our work we get insecure start thinking of someone else, feel depressed, and ultimately these feelings push us towards the unhealthy way of thinking we start to get irritated on small matters which lead us to the bad performance, Fear. The emotion of fear is quite essential for us, without fear we can not save ourselves from many dangerous situations but some fears could be harmful.  we cannot speak in front of people, and we can not be able to decide because of fear of what people would say.. it is all because of our over-emotional attitude..  fear of losing something prevents us from taking any kind of initiative in life…and this fear cause of lack of confidence,….without confidence we r nothing. due to fear, we become a victim of procrastination because we r afraid to take any action in life. EGOWe need to draw a line between self-respect and ego. often we don’t do many things, like say sorry, or don’t accept our defeat, or don’t want to lose an argument, etc. and if in life have to do this we feel bad and get annoyed, this annoyance affects our performance. so we must make a balance between these two.  Good emotions.Good emotions, like care sacrifice, love respect, or giving too much importance to others,…These habits and behaviors are good but everything which exceeds its limit ultimately gives u harm. Giving people too much importance could destroy our Peace of mind…sometimes people think we’re emotional fools and they start taking advantage of us……which makes us frustrated and affects our daily lives…we neglect our benefits in taking care of others. But we need to think about ourselves too…because taking care of our interests doesn’t mean we’re selfish…                                        We need to create balance in our emotions or sentiments… 1. We need to look at ourselves from others’ viewpoints… daily for a few minutes, we try to come out from ourselves and imagine that we’re observing someone else. Think about what would suggest to others in these situations.2. Try to not react immediately… give yourself a few minutes…3. Find ways to control your anger, anger is the most harmful to your life, career as well as health… it may cause losing your relationships, and your job…create dislike among the people for you…..it could destroy your whole journey and if u can not control your anger …

Unlock The Power Of Productivity

“Here are some tips on how to achieve your goals quickly and maintain focus.”     We all want to be productive. We want to get things done and achieve our goals without wasting time. But it’s not always easy to stay focused and motivated. That’s where productivity comes in. In this article, we’ll share some tips on how to be more productive and achieve our goals fast without procrastinating things and stay more focused. So whether you’re struggling with getting started, feeling overwhelmed, or finding yourself distracted often, read on for advice that can help. Create a Goal-Oriented Routine To be productive, we need to set goals and create a routine that will help us achieve them. But before we can do any of that, we need to understand our motivations. Why do we want to be productive? What are our goals? Once we know that, we can start breaking them down into manageable steps and writing them down. Then it’s time to create a plan. What are the milestones we need to hit to achieve our goal? How much time do we have? What’s the best way to approach this? Finally, it’s time to put it into action. We can’t just sit around and hope that we’ll be productive—we need to take the necessary steps to make it happen. And if we ever find ourselves struggling, we can always refer back to our plan and get back on track. Break Down Your Goals Into Manageable Tasks When it comes to productivity, breaking down your goals into manageable tasks is essential. If you try to take on too much at once, you’ll quickly become overwhelmed and frustrated—and more likely to give up entirely. But if you break it down into smaller steps, it becomes a lot easier to stay on track. For example, if your goal is to write a book, your task list might look something like this: -Research different writing methods -Outline the book -Write the first chapter -Edit the chapter See how much more manageable that is? You can take one step at a time and feel good about making progress, rather than feeling like you’re stuck and not making any headway. Set an Achievable Timeline and Stick to It Setting a timeline for your goal is essential, but making sure it’s an achievable timeline is just as important. When I was starting my business, I gave myself one year to turn a profit. And you know what? I did it. But if I had set a timeline that wasn’t achievable, I would have most likely ended up frustrated and giving up. So, it’s important to find that balance between being challenging and being realistic. Once you’ve set your timeline, make sure to stick to it! This helps create a sense of urgency and momentum, which can be key in getting things done. Identify and Tackle Distractions Immediately When you identify a distraction, it is essential to address the distraction right away. The longer you linger on the distraction, the more energy it will take away from doing productive tasks. So, instead of indulging in distractions and losing focus, stay intentional with your time and energy. Here are a few tips on tackling distractions. Firstly, make sure you have identified the source of the distraction and then decide how to deal with it. You can limit your access to time-wasting activities by restricting yourself from using social media platforms or other activities that take away your attention. Another great tip is to set a timer for small tasks that distract you often, like checking emails or messages – this way you can limit yourself from losing too much time on these activities. Lastly, it’s always important to remind yourself of your long-term goals – this will help keep your motivation levels up so you can remain focused on the task at hand. By following these simple tips, we can all reach our goals faster and be more productive in our day-to-day lives! Let Go of Perfectionism and Embrace Mistakes One of the biggest obstacles to productivity is perfectionism. We often get caught up in striving to achieve perfect results that we never take any action at all. That’s why it’s important to let go of perfectionism and permit yourself to make mistakes. The truth is, mistakes are an inevitable part of the learning process and they can be beneficial. Reflecting on your mistakes allows you to identify your weaknesses and grow as a person. It also helps you become more comfortable with taking risks, which can help you move forward faster in achieving your goals. So, instead of obsessively striving for perfection, be mindful of your progress. Celebrate the little milestones and recognize that mistakes are part of the journey to becoming more productive and achieving success. Prioritize Your Goals for Maximum Focus One of the most powerful ways to increase productivity is to prioritize your goals. This means taking the time to figure out which tasks are most important and then making a plan for tackling them. It’s important to understand that you can’t do everything at once. Try implementing the most important tasks first and break them down into smaller chunks. Then, track your progress until each task is done. This will help you stay focused and motivated along the way. Also, consider breaking up larger projects into “sprints” with designated days off in between each sprint. This will give you more focus and allow you to work on each section at a time rather than trying to tackle the whole thing all at once. Finally, set realistic goals and keep yourself accountable by tracking your progress daily or weekly so that you don’t fall behind or get sidetracked by other tasks that may not be as important for achieving your ultimate goals. Conclusion So there you have it, some of our best tips on how to be more productive, achieve your goals fast, and stay more focused. Now go out there
